I live in NZ and have not much idea of this hurricane, altho i see it in the news ocasionally, but if ur actually in the way.... DuDe...im not sure on wat ur planning to do so im not gona criticise u, however obviously it is advisable to move out.

I live in Houston, southwest part to be exact. So far no mandatory evac, so I am staying, for better or for worse.

yup, ill leave once its a mandatory evac, or if storm becomes a lot worse then it is now

How are you defining worse? The storm is already at the top of the intensity scale. Are you waiting for the pressure to drop so much a black hole forms and engulfs the entire earth?

but seriously if the water in the gulf is warm instead of cool, right now i wouldnt get anywhere driving, highways are going 4 mph right now
